Following the success of last year’s meeting Metal-Pages is pleased to announce that we will be holding  the "Metals for Energy and the Environment 2012” conference in Las Vegas on June 6-8 2012. Around 250 delegates joined us at last year’s meeting to discuss the supply and demand of key critical metals and rare earths in the generation of green energy and the protection of the environment.

Metals play an increasingly important and essential role in our lives particularly in the technology we use and in the generation of clean energy. The recent scares over the supply of strategic metals and critical rare earth elements have shown that we can no longer take their supply for granted. Metals for energy and the environment 2012 will focus on the key areas where metals are being used to generate and store energy and to provide a cleaner environment for all. The meeting will review the supply of these metals, their current demand, potential new uses, recycling, current production and future supply projections to assess whether there will be enough material to meet demand.

We will be offering extensive networking opportunities during the cocktail parties, lunches and coffee breaks enabling you to meet other senior executives from all over the world to exchange ideas, promote your company and to conclude business, making this an important event to put in your diary.

Benefits of attending:

  • Understand the key issues regarding the supply, demand and recycling of critical rare earth elements and strategic metals and what it means for your business
  • Hear in depth presentations from analysts and key industry decision makers, keeping you up to date with the latest market developments and technologies.
